Birds Nest

February 16, 2012 by , under Architecture, Uncategorized.

Keeping with our apparent obsession with architecture these days, I thought that I would post a few of Dave’s photos of Beijing’s famous “Birds Nest”, seeing how it was recently announced that it’s designers will be reuniting for the first time since 2008 to work on a new project. Ai Weiwei and Herzog & de Meuron, the superstar trio, will soon be working together to create this year’s “Serpentine Pavilion,” the annual work of temporary architecture erected on the lawn of West London’s Kensington Gardens.

You can read more about it Here

Also, If you are interested in Ai Weiwei, be sure to check out the new documentary “Ai Weiwei Never Sorry” which should be out soon.
